When you crunch the numbers after the Titans’ lifeless loss to the Texans, they put Tennessee in historically bad company. Here’s what it will take to avoid an NFL record nobody wants to own.
The Tennessee Titans fell to an 0-5 start following a 26-3 home defeat against the Houston Texans. According to analysis from A to Z Sports, this continued slump puts the franchise at risk of recording the worst four-year stretch in NFL history since the 1966 merger, currently sitting at a 6-33 record since early 2024.
To surpass the record set by the 2014–17 Cleveland Browns, who finished with an 11-53 mark, the writer notes Tennessee must win at least six of their remaining 29 games through the end of the 2027 season to avoid historic lows.
