Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn announced that changes are coming to both sides of the ball following a 23-17 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The defeat on October 19 dropped Washington to a 1-4-1 record heading into their bye week. Quinn stated that while wholesale system changes are not planned, adjustments will be made to ensure the team plays more precisely upon their return.
Washington has struggled with offensive miscues, including consecutive challenging weeks for quarterback Jayden Daniels. Despite the slow start, the Commanders remain in contention within a struggling NFC East, sitting just a half-game behind the 3-2-1 New York Giants.
