Terry McLaurin's season has been cut short.

Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin will miss the remainder of the season after tearing his patellar tendon, head coach Dan Quinn announced on Tuesday. The 31-year-old sustained the severe left knee injury during the first quarter of Washington's 23-17 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football. McLaurin was carted off the field and is scheduled to undergo season-ending surgery.
McLaurin wraps up his campaign as Washington's leading receiver, recording 230 yards and one touchdown across 15 receptions. The setback comes as the 1-4-1 Commanders head into their Week 7 bye week sitting in last place in the NFC East before facing the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8.
