Washington Commanders' offensive coordinator David Blough made a key change to fix wide receiver Terry McLaurin's role in Week 3.

The Washington Commanders adjusted their offensive scheme to increase wide receiver Terry McLaurin's involvement during their 33-31 victory over the Seattle Seahawks on September 27. Catching passes from backup quarterback Marcus Mariota, McLaurin recorded six receptions for 77 yards and a 30-yard touchdown at Northwest Stadium.
Offensive coordinator David Blough implemented new concepts like pinch routes to counter cloud coverage used by early-season opponents. McLaurin capitalized on the schematic adjustments, converting a designed curl route into a go route to score after beating cornerback Josh Jobe.
