Writer T McGee of Die by the Blade presents an early look at an upcoming NHL Draft class, expressing excitement over its overall depth and top-tier talent. The author argues that strong draft classes are historically defined by franchise centers, elite defensemen, and high-scoring wingers, drawing comparisons to landmark drafts from 1979, 1984, 2003, and 2015.
McGee highlights several potential top-line centers, including Milan Sundstrom, Yevgeni Yakunin, Alexis Joseph, and Jonah Neuenschwander. The writer also points to Landon Dupont as the consensus top defenseman and possible number one overall pick, alongside a promising group of offensive forwards.
