Hurricanes Designate Seth Jarvis To Injured Non-Roster List

The Carolina Hurricanes have placed winger Seth Jarvis on the injured non-roster list to start the 2026-27 season. Jarvis underwent shoulder surgery in June to repair a torn labrum and rotator cuff, carrying an estimated recovery timeline of four to six months. Although he was reported to be ahead of schedule at the opening of training camp, Jarvis could miss multiple weeks or up to the first half of the season.

Jarvis played through the shoulder injury since the 2023-24 campaign, recently capturing an Olympic silver medal and a Stanley Cup with Carolina. The 24-year-old winger led the team with 32 goals last season and is entering the third season of an eight-year, $59.36 million contract. Carolina is now evaluating internal line options to temporarily fill his spot alongside Sebastian Aho and Andrei Svechnikov.
