Oliver Moore found himself as a healthy scratch, but he has since had a commendable performance.

Chicago Blackhawks forward Oliver Moore has responded strongly after being made a healthy scratch on Oct. 25 against the Florida Panthers. Since returning to the lineup, Moore has delivered two impactful performances against the Los Angeles Kings and Detroit Red Wings, drawing praise from teammate Patrick Kane and head coach Jeff Blashill despite the team sitting at 4-9-0 on the season.
Against the Kings on Oct. 27, Moore skated on a productive line alongside Patrick Kane and Frank Nazar, posting dominant possession numbers and finishing as a plus-1. In the following game against Detroit on Oct. 29, the 21-year-old won 89 percent of his faceoffs, showing key progress in his second NHL season after signing a five-year contract extension in September.
