The Colorado Avalanche have officially recalled forward Gavin Brindley from their AHL affiliate, the Colorado Eagles. The move bolsters Colorado's forward depth under head coach Jared Bednar after carrying only twelve healthy forwards, with Logan O'Connor placed on injured reserve and center Nicolas Roy missing pregame warmups against the Dallas Stars.
Brindley earned the promotion after recording five points across his first four AHL games this season. He was previously edged out for an opening-night roster spot by NCAA free agent signee T.J. Hughes, but the 2023-24 Michigan standout now rejoins the NHL squad as one of the organization's top-ranked prospects.
