Panthers’ Brady Tkachuk Already On the Verge of Making Franchise History

Brady Tkachuk is on the verge of setting Florida Panthers franchise records just over a month into his first season with the club. Tkachuk is currently tied with Pavel Bure and Carter Verhaeghe for the most career natural hat tricks in franchise history. Another natural hat trick would give him sole possession of the team record and make him only the eighth player in the past century of NHL history to score three in a single season.

Following a scoreless five-game start after requesting an offseason trade from Ottawa, Tkachuk has collected 19 points across his subsequent 12 games. During Florida's 4-2 loss to the Washington Capitals, he scored two consecutive goals, making him the third player in Panthers history to record three multi-goal games in fewer than 20 appearances.
