The Minnesota Wild received a positive Brock Faber injury update, including when he could return to the team.

Minnesota Wild defenseman Brock Faber is nearing a return after participating in his first team practice since suffering a skull fracture during the preseason. Faber has been cleared to play by doctors after missing five weeks, though head coach John Hynes confirmed he will not suit up for the upcoming weekend games.
Hynes noted that Faber's exact return date remains a moving target dependent on rebuilding his strength and conditioning. However, the 24-year-old blueliner is expected to travel with the team on their road trip next week alongside Jared Spurgeon and Marcus Foligno.
