The New York Islanders announced that defenseman Ryan Pulock will miss two to four weeks due to an upper-body injury. Pulock suffered the injury early in a game against the Minnesota Wild after playing two shifts. His absence places a total of five regular players on the team's injured reserve list.
Pulock joins defenseman Alexander Romanov, who was ruled out for the season with a torn ACL. The Islanders are also dealing with injuries to forwards Mathew Barzal, Matias Maccelli, and Calum Ritchie under head coach Peter DeBoer.
