NY Islanders’ prospect Vladimir Dravecky is riding an 8-game point streak in the OHL

New York Islanders prospect Vladimir Dravecky is on an eight-game point streak with the Guelph Storm in the OHL. Selected in the fifth round of the 2026 NHL Draft, the Czech defenseman leads all OHL defensemen in scoring with 20 points, including four goals and 16 assists, through 13 games. His strong play has helped propel Guelph to a 12-3 start atop the Western Conference.

Dravecky, who was traded to Guelph over the summer, is positioned for key upcoming showcases as the Storm will host the 2027 Memorial Cup. He is also anticipated to take on an expanded role for Czechia at the upcoming World Junior Championship. Storm assistant coach Rob Davison praised Dravecky's work ethic, noting he is consistently the first to arrive and last to leave training.
