With an eye on getting their fourth-line going after a disjointed slow start, the New York Rangers recalled veteran forward…

The New York Rangers recalled veteran forward Taylor Raddysh from AHL affiliate Hartford and reassigned 23-year-old forward Jaroslav Chmelar to the minors on Friday. Head coach Mike Sullivan made the roster adjustment after the Rangers generated zero goals and zero points from their fourth line through the first nine games of the season.
Raddysh produced five points, including three goals, across five games with Hartford prior to the call-up. Chmelar managed 15 hits while averaging 8:15 of ice time across seven games before being demoted. The line reshuffle follows an early October lower-body injury to center Joe Veleno, which disrupted the Rangers' bottom-six forward combinations.
