The 30-year-old winger, who appeared in 10 games with Ottawa last season, provides physicality and grit following offseason questions regarding the team's overall size.
Throughout three preseason contests, Hodgson recorded two shots on goal and 23 penalty minutes, including a fight against former Senator Zack MacEwen. The undrafted winger aims to establish a consistent presence across his 10-year professional career spanning the AHL, ECHL, and European leagues.
