Senators Reduce Their Roster To 23 Players, Place Three On Injury List

The Ottawa Senators finalized their 23-man roster on Monday ahead of the NHL deadline, releasing defenseman Ben Hutton from his professional tryout and assigning multiple players to the AHL's Belleville Senators. Artem Zub, Warren Foegele, and Kurtis MacDermid were placed on the injured list, leaving roster spots open for Cam Crotty, Hoyt Stanley, and Hayden Hodgson.

Several players who cleared waivers were assigned to Belleville, including Samuel Blais, Philip Tomasino, and Tyler Boucher. Forward Ridly Greig is scheduled to miss the opening two games of the season due to a suspension carried over from last spring.
