Entwistle started the season on the injured list and is expected to join Florida’s AHL affiliate.

The Florida Panthers placed forward MacKenzie Entwistle on waivers on Wednesday, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman. If the 27-year-old clears waivers on Thursday, Florida can assign him to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.
Entwistle missed training camp due to an undisclosed injury and began the season on Florida's injured/non-roster list. He is in the final year of a two-year, two-way contract and has spent his entire Panthers tenure in the AHL.
