The Philadelphia Flyers earned their first win of the season by defeating their opponents 3-1, inspired by an emotional morning speech from broadcaster Jason Myrtetus. Myrtetus, who is undergoing chemotherapy for stage 4 colorectal cancer, addressed the team following their morning skate on Saturday. The previously winless Flyers overcame a 0-6-3 start to rally for the victory.
