NHL Rumors: Artturi Lehkonen, Simon Edvinsson, Nashville Predators, and the San Jose Sharks

NHL insider reports indicate that Colorado Avalanche forward Artturi Lehkonen and Detroit Red Wings restricted free agent defenseman Simon Edvinsson are major focal points in early trade and contract discussions. Lehkonen is a pending unrestricted free agent with no extension imminent, while approximately 9 or 10 teams—including the Nashville Predators and San Jose Sharks—have shown interest in Edvinsson ahead of the December 1 signing deadline.

Meanwhile, the Nashville Predators are actively seeking to get younger and add skilled talent to their roster. According to Darren Dreger, Nashville may consider making veteran defensemen Nicolas Hague and Brady Skjei available in potential trade talks as the organization explores avenues to acquire younger pieces.
