After years of waiting, Filip Bystedt finally got the opportunity to make his NHL debut with the San Jose Sharks on Thursday night.

San Jose Sharks winger Filip Bystedt reflected positively on making his NHL debut on Thursday night against the Vancouver Canucks. Selected 27th overall by the Sharks in 2022, the 22-year-old called the experience awesome and said it was exactly how he had dreamed it to be.
Bystedt logged 10:28 of ice time and created a prominent first-period scoring chance against Canucks goaltender Leevi Merilainen. Despite limited minutes due to numerous penalties, he enjoyed the home crowd's energy at the SAP Center and celebrated the victory with his parents in attendance.
