The San Jose Sharks rallied from a two-goal deficit to defeat the Vancouver Canucks 3-2 at SAP Center. Trailing 2-0 entering the third period, 21-year-old center Will Smith scored twice within three minutes to tie the game. Seconds later, Mason Marchment scored the decisive game-winning goal to seal the comeback victory for the Sharks.
Head coach Ryan Warsofsky and Smith credited a relaxed second-intermission mindset for sparking San Jose's third-period turnaround. Smith capitalized on a power play before netting his second goal off an assist from Macklin Celebrini. The win helped the Sharks avoid their first three-game losing streak of the 2026-27 NHL season.
