Matty Beniers scored 55 seconds into overtime to secure a 2-1 victory for the Seattle Kraken over the Calgary Flames at Climate Pledge Arena. After Brandon Montour intercepted a pass, Beniers capitalized on a breakaway to end the contest. Goaltender Joey Daccord delivered a strong performance in net, stopping 25 of 26 shots to earn the win.
Calgary opened the scoring in the first period courtesy of a Yegor Sharangovich tip-in. Seattle responded in the second period with a game-tying goal from Berkly Catton, who extended his point streak to seven games after previously having an earlier goal disallowed due to an offside challenge.
