Anaheim overcame a disastrous three-goal deficit and defensive lapses to snap their skid, fueled by Laurent Brossoit’s resilient goaltending and a dominant special teams surge against Ottawa.

The Anaheim Ducks overcame an early 3-0 deficit to defeat the Ottawa Senators 6-3 on Sunday. Starting goaltender Laurent Brossoit stopped 20 of 23 shots in his recall from the AHL, rebounding after a shaky opening period as Anaheim dominated the final 40 minutes. Ottawa goaltender Jonas Johansson made 27 saves on 33 shots in the loss.
Anaheim capitalized heavily on special teams, converting four of five power-play opportunities behind fluid passing from Beckett Sennecke, Mikael Granlund, Leo Carlsson, and Cutter Gauthier. Forward Judd Caulfield contributed two goals around the net front, while defenseman Pavel Mintyukov returned from injured reserve to bolster Anaheim's defense ahead of a three-game road trip.
