This former Lightning forward has been placed on waivers.

The San Jose Sharks have placed former Tampa Bay Lightning forward Alex Barre-Boulet on waivers, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman. Barre-Boulet began the season on injured reserve, but the transaction indicates he is ready to return to action. If he clears waivers, the forward will be assigned to the Sharks' AHL affiliate, the San Jose Barracuda.
Barre-Boulet previously spent four seasons with Tampa Bay from 2020-21 through 2023-24, tallying 12 goals and 17 points across 66 games. Last season, he primarily played in the AHL for the Colorado Eagles, recording 26 goals and 70 points in 70 contests, while also appearing in two games for the Colorado Avalanche.
