Sergei Bobrovsky arrived in Toronto with a long and decorated resume.

Goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky and the Toronto Maple Leafs are working to find their footing following a 4-1 loss to the New York Islanders on Saturday. The defeat dropped Bobrovsky's early-season record to 1-3-2 with an .891 save percentage and a 3.29 goals-against average. Despite allowing three goals or more in each of his first six starts, the veteran netminder expressed patience and confidence as the team builds chemistry.
Toronto currently sits at 3-4-2 after losing four of its last five games. Captain Auston Matthews admitted the team left Bobrovsky unsupported in recent starts, while the roster also faces injuries to Chris Tanev and John Tavares.
