The Washington Capitals shouldn't get expect to get a boatload in return for a top prospect, according to one insider.

NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reported that rival clubs have inquired about Washington Capitals forward Ivan Miroshnichenko amid his struggle to secure regular playing time. On the 32 Thoughts Podcast, Friedman suggested the return for Miroshnichenko might resemble the previous trade of Egor Chinakhov to Pittsburgh, which yielded veteran Danton Heinen and two draft picks, rather than a massive haul.
Nestor Quixtan argues that Washington should keep the 22-year-old prospect rather than accept a modest return. Quixtan highlights Miroshnichenko's value as necessary forward depth and points to future roster opportunities following Alex Ovechkin's anticipated retirement.
