It has been three years since Tedesco last donned the Kangaroos colours, which has not deterred him from clinching every accolade rugby league has to offer.
James Tedesco does not view his Kangaroos return against Fiji as a direct battle with Reece Walsh for Australia's fullback jersey. After being rested for the 24-22 victory over New Zealand, where Walsh impressed, the 33-year-old Roosters captain will make his first international appearance since 2023 on Sunday at Suncorp Stadium.
Tedesco noted that he offered full support and advice to Walsh ahead of his standout performance. Meanwhile, Sydney Roosters halfback Sam Walker is expected to make his Test debut alongside Tom Dearden, as Cameron Munster is rested and Mitchell Moses is sidelined due to a leg injury.
