Lachlan Walmsley lands Super League move with next club confirmed

Winger Lachlan Walmsley has officially signed a contract with Bradford Bulls to stay in Super League for the 2027 season and beyond. Walmsley joins the Bulls on a deal running through 2029 after helping Wakefield Trinity secure a 23-10 victory over Warrington Wolves in the Super League Grand Final. He follows fellow Grand Final winner Cam Scott in agreeing to move to Odsal.

Bradford Bulls head coach Kurt Haggerty expressed his enthusiasm for bringing in championship-winning talent to strengthen the squad and raise competition standards. Walmsley cited ambitious conversations with Haggerty and Jason Hirst about returning the historic club to top-tier contention as primary motivations behind his permanent transfer.
