England winger Manny Feyi-Waboso is expected to be fit for next month's Nations Championship Test against Australia despite sustaining a hamstring injury. The 23-year-old was injured while playing for Exeter Chiefs against Newcastle and will miss Exeter's Champions Cup fixture against Toulouse. Exeter director of rugby Rob Baxter confirmed that initial scans revealed no major damage and physios do not foresee a long-term issue.
Meanwhile, former England captains Ellis Genge and Courtney Lawes have urged the RFU to lift the restriction preventing overseas-based players from international selection. Both players suggested implementing a cap-based threshold similar to Wales to grant senior players eligibility while playing abroad.
