Whitney Hansen has shared what she believes will be "the key difference" between the Black Ferns and their top rivals if they are to reclaim their place atop the rugby world.

Whitney Hansen stated that mental performance will be the key differentiator separating the New Zealand Black Ferns from top rivals. Following an 81-point victory over France in Hamilton, Hansen noted that New Zealand's technical skills and game plan are established, making mindset management crucial to returning to the summit of international rugby.
The Black Ferns recently rebounded from a tight loss against England at Twickenham, improving their execution significantly from 1.3 to four points per 22-meter entry. Hansen highlighted that preparing a young squad to handle in-game distractions, maintain momentum, and quickly reset after errors is vital for their development.
