Taine Basham has credited working alongside Taulupe Faletau as a key factor in earning his recall to the Wales national squad. Basham described the experience of playing with Faletau as surreal, referring to him as Wales' greatest No. 8.
The recall returns Basham to the international setup for the upcoming Nations Championship after more than two and a half years away. He last played for Wales against England in February 2024, earning his spot back through strong performances for Cardiff.
