New Zealand No. 8 Kaipo Olsen-Baker has been awarded the World Rugby Women's Player of the Year title. The 24-year-old secured the prestigious honor ahead of fellow nominees DaLeaka Menin of Canada as well as England internationals Megan Jones and Zoe Harrison.
Olsen-Baker starred for the Black Ferns during a dominant campaign, with the team winning 10 of their 11 test matches under head coach Whitney Hansen. Their sole defeat was a 26-19 loss to England in September.
