The British and Irish Lions will participate in a historic first women's fixture when they face fourth-ranked France at Cardiff's Principality Stadium. The match is scheduled to take place on Friday, August 27, serving as a warm-up ahead of their 2027 tour to New Zealand.
Following the opening match in Cardiff, Jo Yapp's team is set to play a Black Ferns XV in Whangarei the subsequent weekend. That preparation will culminate in a three-Test series against New Zealand starting on September 11.
