Joseph Suaalii welcomes Nawaqanitawase’s Wallabies return as Fiji switch possible

Wallabies back Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii has stated he welcomes the potential return of Mark Nawaqanitawase and the resulting squad competition ahead of the next Rugby World Cup. Speaking after Wallabies training in Sydney, Suaalii expressed hope that head coach Les Kiss can convince Nawaqanitawase to participate in Australia's upcoming four-Test tour of the UK in November.

Nawaqanitawase recently completed an NRL grand final victory with the Sydney Roosters and is scheduled to join the Saitama Wild Knights after his contract concludes on October 31. Suaalii also endorsed the addition of Angus Crichton, noting that strong internal competition among code-hoppers will significantly boost the national team's capabilities.
