Munster earned their first victory of the United Rugby Championship season with a 26-22 bonus-point win over the Bulls at Thomond Park. The teams entered halftime level at 14-14, but an impressive performance from Charlie O'Shea on his first senior competitive start guided the Irish province to the hard-fought triumph.
O'Shea scored two tries and kicked three conversions, while Diarmuid Kilgallen and Alex Kendellen added Munster's other tries. The Bulls scored through Ruan Vermaak, Francois Klopper, and Jeandre Rudolph, but Curwin Bosch's late missed conversion left them short.
