The Story in 60 Seconds

Stefanos Tsitsipas is targeting a return to the top 30 by the end of the 2026 season to secure a seeded spot at Grand Slams. After a form slump dropped him as low as No. 88, a first-round win over Kimmer Coppejans at the Shanghai Masters moved the former world No. 3 back inside the top 40 in live rankings.

Tsitsipas has no ranking points to defend for the remainder of the year and plans to compete in Almaty, Basel, and Paris after Shanghai. Having already won a title in Gstaad and reached the US Open fourth round, he is aiming to reach around 1,600 points to regain seeded status ahead of the 2027 Australian Open.
