Stefanos Tsitsipas: "For me it is an important win."

Stefanos Tsitsipas secured a comeback 3-6, 7-5, 6-3 victory over 11th seed Taylor Fritz in the third round of the Shanghai Masters. The Greek tennis star described the result as a statement win against a consistent top player, marking his third top-20 victory since August.
The triumph continues Tsitsipas' resurgence after injuries and poor form saw him fall to world No 88 in June. Following a title win at the Swiss Open in July and a solid run at the Japan Open, the victory over Fritz lifted Tsitsipas to No 39 in the Live ATP Rankings.
