Maja Chwalinska revealed the mental toll of public criticism after winning her maiden WTA Masters 1000 title at the Wuhan Open. Following a difficult slump after her French Open final appearance, where she won only four matches over four months, the 25-year-old Pole rallied to defeat Sonay Kartal 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 in the final.
