49ers QB Brock Purdy has improved at avoiding pressure, and Kyle Shanahan explains how the quarterback has found a better balance between throwing and running.

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan and center Jake Brendel praised quarterback Brock Purdy for his poise and decision-making under pressure this season. Purdy has not been sacked yet this year, benefiting from strong offensive line protection while effectively using his instincts to extend plays. Shanahan noted that Purdy has found a healthy balance between remaining in the pocket and scrambling to make plays.
Purdy holds an NFL-leading 126.2 passer rating with 1,007 passing yards, 11 touchdowns, and one interception, alongside 122 rushing yards and a rushing score. The undefeated 49ers aim to maintain their streak and stay atop the NFC West when they face the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
