Dortmund have failed to win their last two games.

Borussia Dortmund travel to face Union Berlin in the Bundesliga seeking to end a two-game winless streak across all competitions. After a 2-2 draw with Werder Bremen and a 1-0 Champions League defeat against Bodo/Glimt, Dortmund sit second in the league table tied on 13 points with Freiburg. Meanwhile, Union Berlin occupy third-bottom position following one victory in their opening five matches.
Union Berlin will be missing injured defenders Josip Juranovic, Andrik Markgraf, and Stanley Nsoki. Dortmund remain without Justin Lerma, Emre Can, and Giannis Konstantelias, but defender Nico Schlotterbeck is set to return to the squad after being rested in midweek.
