Former Barcelona, Chelsea, and Lazio forward Pedro has officially announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 39. The Spanish attacker confirmed his decision through an emotional video filmed at Camp Nou and posted on his Instagram account, four months after his Lazio contract expired.
Pedro reflected fondly on his decorated career, which included three Champions League titles under Pep Guardiola, the 2010 World Cup, Euro 2012, and multiple trophies with Chelsea. Expressing gratitude to former clubs, coaches, teammates, and supporters, he reserved special praise for Italy, noting he was treated like a son during his time there.
