Mikel Arteta's immediate reaction to Arsenal's shock defeat to Fleetwood has been revealed…

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta handled his side's Carabao Cup defeat to League Two club Fleetwood Town with grace and composure, according to Mark Whiley. Arsenal drew 1-1 before losing on penalties after Max Dowman was sent off late in the match. Fleetwood manager Matt Lawlor praised Arteta for showing class, congratulating the squad, and shaking hands multiple times in the tunnel.
Whiley argues that Arteta's respectful conduct stood in contrast to Pep Guardiola's heated tunnel confrontation with Wigan manager Paul Cook during Manchester City's FA Cup defeat in 2018. Arteta, who was Guardiola's assistant at the time, offered public congratulations to Fleetwood following the shock cup exit.
