Kenneth Divers was found guilty of targeting four boys, as young as 11 years old, at locations including Hampden Park and two schools in Paisley, between 1968 and 1992.

A mandatory Fatal Accident Inquiry has begun into the death of Kenneth Divers, an 80-year-old former Celtic scout who died in custody. Divers passed away at Glasgow Royal Infirmary on February 2 of last year while in state care. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for November 25 at Glasgow Sheriff Court to examine the circumstances surrounding his death.
Divers was extradited from Vietnam and sentenced in June 2023 at Paisley Sheriff Court for sexually abusing four young boys between 1968 and 1992. Procurator Fiscal Andy Shanks confirmed the inquiry is required by law because Divers died while serving his custodial sentence.
