Atlanta Falcons rookie linebacker Kendal Daniels was carted off the field on a stretcher following a severe collision during Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears. The incident occurred in the third quarter at Mercedes-Benz Stadium when the 23-year-old took a knee to the helmet while attempting to tackle Bears tight end Colston Loveland. Players from both teams gathered to pray as medical staff attended to him.
Daniels was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, where tests confirmed he maintained movement in all extremities. Following the medical checks, Daniels rejoined his teammates and was seen walking under his own power in the Falcons locker room later that day.
