Wigan Warriors halfback Harry Smith believes the club can rebound from their recent Super League play-off disappointment. Despite a strong campaign that included a 16-game winning streak, Matt Peet's side was eliminated following a 33-6 home loss to Wakefield Trinity in the semi-finals, missing out on the Grand Final after previously losing the 2025 decider to Hull KR.
Smith noted that while falling short hurt, Wigan still enjoyed a successful season by securing two trophies. The Warriors won the Challenge Cup with a 40-10 victory over Hull KR and claimed the League Leaders' Shield after recording 22 regular-season victories.
