AFTER a horror Pacific Cup last autumn saw them slip out of the top four in the world rankings, Tonga have drawn the short straw…
Tonga has announced its squad and outlook for the 2026 Rugby League World Cup under head coach Kristian Woolf. Drawn in Pool C alongside England and Samoa, Tonga enters the tournament looking to rebound from a difficult Pacific Cup campaign. Woolf's squad features significant NRL talent as they prepare to open their campaign against England in Perth.
The roster includes key figures such as Jason Taumalolo, Addin Fonua-Blake, Haumole Olakau'atu, and playmaker Isaiya Katoa. Woolf continues his tenure with the national team following a successful NRL season with the Dolphins, aiming to advance from a competitive pool.
