Middlesbrough manager Kim Hellberg has addressed Connor Barron's lack of playing time after Rangers icon Barry Ferguson called for the midfielder to be recalled from his loan in January. Barron completed a summer loan move to the Championship side but has yet to play an official minute for the club.
Hellberg praised the 24-year-old midfielder's training ground attitude as exceptional, alongside teammate Leo Castledine, emphasizing that competition is fierce and their chances will come. Ferguson had suggested Rangers recall the former Aberdeen midfielder to either play under Derek McInnes or seek another loan elsewhere.
