The two clubs faced off for the second time in four days in a bounce game…

Dundee secured a 2-1 victory over Rangers in a behind-closed-doors friendly match played on Tuesday on the outskirts of Glasgow. Charlie Reilly and an unnamed trialist scored for Steven Pressley's side, while Ross McCausland netted the lone goal for Rangers. Dundee also had a second penalty saved during the encounter by goalkeeper Liam Kelly.
The match allowed both clubs to build player fitness following their 2-2 Scottish Premiership draw over the weekend. Rangers manager Derek McInnes fielded a second-string lineup that included Bojan Miovski, Ben Godfrey, and Tochi Chukwuani, while Dundee gave valuable minutes to Joe Wright, Ryan Finnigan, and Reilly.
