Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin will miss the remainder of the season due to a torn patellar tendon in his left knee, head coach Dan Quinn announced Tuesday. McLaurin suffered the injury during the first quarter of Washington's 23-17 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night and had to be carted off the field in an air cast before an MRI confirmed the tear.
The 31-year-old team captain finishes the season with 15 receptions for 230 yards and one touchdown across five games. McLaurin is in his eighth NFL season and currently in the first year of a three-year, $96 million extension signed before the 2025 season.
