Celta Vigo are expected to be without five players for their Europa League meeting against Celtic at Parkhead on Thursday. Wing-back Álvaro Núñez has suffered an adductor injury in his left leg, joining an injury list that already includes Carl Starfelt, Borja Iglesias, Miguel Román, and Jones El-Abdellaoui. Former Celtic defender Starfelt will miss the opportunity to play against his former club due to a thigh injury.
Manager Claudio Giráldez may call on reserve players to round out the traveling squad for the Glasgow trip. In positive news for the Spanish club, striker Pablo Durán has received medical clearance following calf swelling and is expected to travel, providing an additional attacking option alongside Ferran Jutglà.
