The Giants received a pair of tough injury updates heading into the weekend. After receiving confirmation that starting linebacker Tremaine Edmunds would miss the remainder of the season with a torn muscle in his chest, the team found out today…

New York Giants defensive end Chauncey Golston has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a neck injury, according to ESPN's Jordan Raanan. Golston initially suffered the injury during the team's Week 4 victory over the Cardinals and was placed on injured reserve two weeks ago before a second opinion confirmed he cannot return this year.
The update comes alongside news that starting linebacker Tremaine Edmunds will also miss the season with a torn chest muscle. Meanwhile, offensive tackles Andrew Thomas, Jermaine Eluemunor, and Marcus Mbow are dealing with minor injuries, though head coach John Harbaugh indicated there is no long-term concern for the offensive tackle group.
